Diver Mutation

Only a small fraction of the vast number of mutations that play a driving role in cancer development, conferring a selective growth advantage and promoting rapid cell proliferation, are known as driver mutations and can serve as potential molecular biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, as well as targets for cancer drug development. By understanding and characterizing driver mutations, researchers will gain valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms of cancer.

On the "Mutation" page, we compiled a reliable list of driver mutations based on CanDriS prediction results, external databases, literature mining, experimental validation, and other sources, and assigned OncoTriMD-defined levels to each driver mutation. For each predicted driver mutation, we provide annotations that provide comprehensive information.
