Dr. Zhan Zhou is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Zhejiang University. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Drug Metabolism and Pharmaceutical Analysis at the School of Pharmacy and Assistant Dean of the Zhejiang University Innovation Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. In 2025, he was selected for the Zhejiang Provincial Young Talent Program. Dr. Zhou serves on the Committee of the Division of Anticancer Drug Research and Evaluation of the China Medical Education Association. He is also a council member of the Zhejiang Pharmacological Society and the Zhejiang Bioinformatics Society, as well as a young editorial board member of Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics (GPB) and Phenomics.
His research focuses on intelligent and systems pharmacy, with an emphasis on AI for pharmacy. In recent years, he has published more than 100 papers in leading academic journals, including Nature Communications, Nucleic Acids Research, Advanced Science, Molecular Biology and Evolution, and Molecular Therapy. He also holds more than 30 granted invention patents and software copyrights.
